Microneedling, also known as Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT), is a minimally invasive treatment that creates controlled micro-channels within the epidermis and superficial dermis (top layer of skin). This process stimulates the wound-healing cascade, triggering fibroblast activity, neocollagenesis, and elastin production, which are the processes needed to significantly rejuvenate the skin.
